MAXX Omega-3 is a dietary supplement containing high quality and purity of food oil derived from small, wild cold-water fish, free from antibiotics and growth hormones, obtained in a controlled way from the purest certified Pacific fisheries. The preparation is especially recommended for people who care about the proper functioning of the heart, brain, vision and circulatory system.

The oil used in the preparation is standardized to a minimum content of 65% omega-3 acids, belonging to the group of essential fatty acids valuable for health. After all, the human body cannot synthesize them on its own, providing these acids with a diet - or supplementing in the case of a diet low in fish - is extremely important. Omega-3 acids include, among others, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), whose high content in MAXX Omega-3 ensures effective action:

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)

• contribute to the proper functioning of the heart (the beneficial effect occurs when consuming 250 mg of EPA and DHA per day)
• help maintain normal blood triglyceride levels (the beneficial effect occurs when consuming 2 g of EPA¡ DHA per day, but do not exceed the level of supplementary daily intake of 5 g of EPA and DHA in total)

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)

• contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and proper vision (the beneficial effect occurs in the case of consuming 250 mg of DHA per day)
• consumed by the mother contributes to the proper development of the eyes and brain in the fetus and breastfed infants (the beneficial effect occurs with the intake of 200 mg of DHA per day above the recommended daily intake of omega-3 acids for adults).

In addition, the preparation MAXX Omega-3 has been enriched with vitamin E, which helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.

Recommended portion for consumption during the day, necessary to obtain a beneficial effect:

• Children over 2. year of age - 1 capsule.
• Adults - 2 capsules.
• Pregnant and breastfeeding women - 3 capsules.
• Adults striving to maintain normal blood triglyceride levels - 4 capsules (2 capsules 2 times a day). It is best to take during a meal with water.
