The leather ceiling is an accessory that allows you to thoroughly polish the blade after sharpening. Handmade belt made of vegetable hunched, 3 mm thick cowhide jucht leather was placed on a hard and durable beech wood board. The ceiling together with the attached set of four polishing pastes and lotion creates a practical set dedicated to the final stage of the sharpening process.

Gradation of pastes:

How to use leather ceiling?

1 Apply polish paste.

Apply the selected paste to one or both sides of the skin. Most often white is used on the rough side, and green on the smooth side, but the choice depends on your preferences. The smooth side can also be used without paste.

2 Polish one side of the blade.

Make a few strokes by moving the blade as pictured, while maintaining the correct angle of inclination.

3 Change the blade side.

Repeat the same steps on the other side of the blade.
