Deterrent spikes - get rid of vermin
✅The product is the most advanced model in the series. It consists of 108 spring wires per meter in length, and thanks to the wide spacing, bird spikes provide up to 260 mm of effective protection. The model is sold in modules with a length of 341 mm each. The height of a single spike is 105 mm. The base of the spikes is made of polycarbonate resistant to changing weather conditions and long-lasting UV radiation.
✅Bird pins are mounted with screws or silicone glue. Made of high quality stainless steel, the ends of the wires have been bluntly terminated in a special way so as not to harm the birds. Spikes are extremely densely scattered, which allows you to protect places from the presence of large and small bird species.
✅Stainless steel wires are durable and durable - they retain resistance to impact, abrasion and upholstery. The material provides rust protection, allowing you to use the accessory outdoors. Resistance to variable temperatures makes the use of spikes on birds harmless in all conditions. Additionally, the wires do not require cleaning, and the wide spacing prevents birds from squatting between them.
✅The pins are mounted with silicone glue or screws. In order to carry out the correct installation of spikes for birds, several necessary tools are needed, the most important of them are a squeezer for silicone glue, a wallpaper cutter (or other), a spatula, a wire brush, a cloth material. Recommended personal protective equipment: protective gloves, safety glasses.

Installation of spikes
✔ Before installing the spikes, carefully clean the substrate, using a wire brush, spatula or cloth. Metal surfaces (not painted, coated) should be wiped with a degreaser, for example denatured. Concrete surfaces should be primed if necessary. On the basis of the spikes, we distribute a layer of glue - about 5 mm - for this you need to use a silicone gun. To the wooden surfaces, spikes are mounted with screws or corrugated nails.
✔ The bases of the spikes have notches every 50 mm or so, if necessary, the modules can be divided into smaller sections. We carefully lay the spikes on the ground. Leave a 2-5 mm gap between the bases of successively glued modules. Press the spikes with your hand or spatula. The installation of spikes should be carried out on a fully dried surface. The minimum installation temperature is 5 degrees.
✔ In order to avoid stresses in the base, stud modules should be divided into smaller elements. Polycarbonate spike base has characteristic incisions occurring at a distance of about 50 mm. They allow breaking the base and dividing it into shorter sections, which can be installed on round, semicircular surfaces, arches, tiles, ganders, attics, and other architectural elements.
✔ Bird spikes can be mounted on narrow architectural elements such as railings, railings, handrails, drain pipe knees. We recommend installation with glue and stainless clamps. When installing wood spikes, we recommend using stainless screws or corrugated nails. Polycarbonate spike base has holes for this type of installation (every 50mm).
