Made of 304 stainless steel and embedded on the basis of resistant polycarbonate, the spikes are prepared to work for many years regardless of the weather. No Pest® spikes are a solution for anyone struggling with the persistent presence of pigeons and other birds in everyday environments. The most frequently chosen place of installation are window sills, where birds particularly liked to sit and leave unsightly dirt. However, this is only one of many uses.

Ways of mounting spikes

No Pest® bird spikes can be mounted in three different ways – depending on the type of surface and the user’s needs.

• Mounting glue – ideal for window sills, railings and other smooth surfaces.

• Screws or screws – durable and solid attachment to wooden or concrete surfaces. Before drilling the surface, you should consult an experienced professional.

• Clamping bands (tricks) – quick installation on gutters, railings or fences, without the need for drilling. We recommend using stainless steel clamps.

All ends of the spikes have been bluntly terminated, so that they do not pose a threat to birds – they are only to prevent them from landing.

We recommend the use of appropriate personal protective equipment or commissioning qualified employees to perform work.

In order for No Pest® spikes to perform their task, it is important to install them correctly. Below you will find step by step how to do it – quickly, efficiently and without complications.

Step 1 : Surface preparation

Thoroughly clean the installation site from dirt, dust, bird droppings and organic residues. Use a spatula, wire brush or damp cloth. Wear protective gloves and glasses for safety.

Step 2 : Degreasing the surface

Wipe metal surfaces (unpainted) with a degreasing agent, e.g. denatured. In the case of concrete – it is recommended to prime the surface in advance. For wooden surfaces it is best to use screws or nails – spike modules have mounting holes every 5 cm.

Step 3 : Glue application (optional mounting method)

On the bottom of the base of the spikes spread a layer of mounting glue (approx. 5 mm thick), using a silicone gun. Estimated consumption: one tube (300 ml) is enough for approx. 10 meters of spikes.

Step 4 : Installation of spikes

Arrange the spikes evenly on the ground, pressing them thoroughly – with your hand or spatula. Spike modules can be easily divided into smaller sections – they have incisions every 5 cm.

Step 5 : Installation conditions

Installation should be carried out on a dry surface, at a temperature above +5°C. Time of full curing of the adhesive: minimum 24 hours.

With three mounting options – glue, screws or clamp bands – you can customize the installation method to any surface.
