SCHUBERTH C5 Carbon is the first motorcycle helmet in history from SCHUBERTH PERFORMANCE. Its fully Carbon shell is made by hand in SCHUBERTH PERFORMANCE by the same hands of our specialized technicians who produce helmets for Formula 1. Thanks to manual lamination and the autoclave baking process, the C5 Carbon shell combines extremely low weight with incomparable resistance. The new C5 Carbon has dual P/J approval and meets the strict standards of ECE 22.06.

HELMET SHELL

• The fully Carbon shell is hand-crafted in the same lamination and autoclave baking process as our Formula 1 helmets.

INNER LAYERS

• The new EPS material provides better shock absorption and more headroom. It has two densities for the main part and its sides
• The new seamless SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL padding allows you to adjust the helmet according to your individual needs.

VIEWFINDER

• Viewfinder: 2 mm polycarbonate, transparent, 1 optical class, Pinlock® non-pairing insert.
• Sunscreen blend (dimming 80%) covered with a scratch-resistant layer.
• Patented viewfinder mechanism with position memory function.
• Greater field of view thanks to the new mechanism of the city viewfinder.
• New mechanism for fixing the sunscreen blend.

HELMET CHARACTERISTICS

• ECE-R 22.06 standard. The helmet has double P/J approval.
• Fiberglass shell reinforced with one layer of Carbon for better cushioning and lower weight.
• New chin strap attachment position to improve comfort in the throat area and system to prevent the helmet from rolling off the head (A.R.O.S).
• Two air intakes on the jaw of the helmet provide more efficient ventilation. One of them with a replaceable filter
• New rear spoiler equipped with air outlet.
• New patented viewfinder mechanism equipped with position memory function.
• Greater field of view thanks to the new “urban position” mechanism of the viewfinder and new mechanisms for fixing the sunscreen blend.
• Plug and Play communication system based on Sena 50S system with speakers, Mesh antenna, FM antenna and Bluetooth antenna pre-installed in helmet shell
• Possibility to adjust the shape of the helmet interior within the concept SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL
• The new, easier-to-use jaw closing mechanism for weight reduction has been reinforced with fiberglass.
• Reflective elements on the chin, collar, above the top seal and in the stickers improve visibility when driving with the jaw open and closed.
