The incredible versatility of the helmet has been improved to meet the demands of today's driver. The design of the helmet shell has undergone dramatic changes in terms of style and safety, but the GT-AIR II remains true to its aerodynamic roots. The helmet is equipped with an improved ventilation system and an extended sunscreen blend that provides better protection from the sun's rays.

The GT Air II features an improved micrometric clasp made of stainless steel and with a padded adjustment strap. The helmet's design is designed for the dedicated SENA SRL2 intercom, ensuring a seamless installation without compromising the helmet's aggressive style or aerodynamics.

Security:

• The helmet shell was made in AIM technology, i.e. from a combination of 4 different fibres and 5 layers (glass fibres and organic fibres)
• EPS foam with different density better distributes impact energy for a higher level of safety
• CNS 1 glass is equipped with Pinlock®, which prevents fogging of the glass

Improved ventilation:

Thanks to advanced wind tunnel tests, the ventilation system has been optimized and noise inside the helmet has been reduced. 5 air inlets and 2 outlets were used, which thanks to the great arrangement allow for even better air circulation.

Comfort:

Completely removable and washable interior. Helmet adapted to the installation of a dedicated SRL2 communication system. Special indentations in the cheek pads for ease of use with prescription glasses. Taking care of additional comfort, Shoei helmets are equipped with removable acoustic caps that reduce noise inside the helmet.

The helmet is equipped with a certified integrated sunscreen blend that meets European safety standards DIN EN1836.

Aggressive design:

The innovative shape of the GT-Air II shell is not only an aggressive design, but also an increase in the streamlinedness of the helmet - which reduces air resistance and reduces the amount of noise inside the helmet. The improved and airtight inner sun visor system prevents unwanted wind noise in the helmet.

Security:

Few factors have such a huge impact on safety as the helmet shell and EPS - which is why the GT-Air II is equipped with a unique SHOEI Multi-Ply Matrix AIM coating and EPS Multi-Piece insert - which is the result of many years of experience and testing, providing one of the highest safety levels available on the market.

Clasp:

The GT-AIR II helmet is equipped with a clasp made of hardened steel, which can withstand a much greater load than the legally required minimum of 20 N.
