Creatine malate is a form of creatine combined with malic acid. Creatine is a compound that occurs naturally in the body, and a significant part of its resources are found in skeletal muscles.

In muscle cells, creatine may be present as phosphocreatine. The creatine-phosphocreatine system participates in the rapid renewal of ATP, the basic energy carrier used during muscle work. For this reason, creatine is particularly associated with short and very intense series of exercise.

The formula is complemented by taurine, a sulfonic amino acid that is a natural human metabolite. In this portion it occurs as an additive in the amount of 0,1 g.
