HSS-G Red Cobalt Series from Milwaukee

The drill bits are made of high-speed steel enriched with CO Cobalt alloy additive. This material is designed to provide high-performance machining, high hardness, abrasion resistance, and increased temperature resistance.

Thanks to the above-mentioned features, it is possible to drill in such hard materials as:

• stainless steel,
• acid-resistant steel
• high-alloy steels,
• metals having a tensile strength exceeding 1000 N/mm²

Drill bits can also handle less demanding materials:

• low-alloy steel,
• cast iron,
• bronze,
• copper,
• plastics,
• wood.

*Please note that the drill bits are made of a very hard material and the harder the material, the more demanding it can cut/drill in more demanding materials, but it is also more brittle and exposed to breakage during the incompetent drilling process)
