Vitamin C

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin whose nutritional source is m.in. citrus, (oranges, lemons, grapefruits), blueberries, kiwi, red peppers, broccoli, Brussels sprouts and potatoes. It is the most well-known vitamin that multidirectionally supports the human body. It was first isolated from peppers in 1928, and its discoverer was awarded the Nobel Prize. [2]

Functions of Vitamin C

Vitamin C supports immunity, contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and supports psychological functions. [1] In addition, it has antioxidant effects and increases the absorption of heme iron. [1]

Bioflavonoids

So far, about 4000 flavonoid compounds have been described, commonly found in leaves, flowers, fruits and plant seeds. They are dyes that give plants different colors - from yellow in citrus fruits to pomegranate in berries. [3] One of the flavonoids is hesperidin, which is found in large quantities in citrus fruits, m.in. in bitter orange. [3]

Zinc

Zinc is an element that performs many important functions for the body. As one of the most important properties of zinc, we can consider the support of the immune system. [1] Additionally, it helps maintain healthy skin, hair, and nails, and also supports cell protection against oxidative stress. [1]

Ingredients: 63 % vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid); capsule shell [glazing agent (hydroxypropylcellulose)]; maltodextrin; 6 % citrus bioflavonoid extract from bitter orange [fruit] (Citrus aurantium) [50 % hesperidin]; anti-caking agent (magnesium salts of fatty acids); 1 % zinc oxide (zincose oxide). The product may contain: milk, soy, cereals containing gluten, fish and peanuts.

Take 1 capsule 2 times a day with plenty of water during a meal. The portion of the product recommended for consumption during the day is 2 capsules.
