HCA (Hydroxycitric Acid) is obtained from Garcinia Cambodia. The HCA content in Scitec Nutrition® HCA is 62%. Many inferior brands may contain much less of the active ingredient! HCA can facilitate the control of body weight, the level of fatness and the feeling of hunger. Chitosan is obtained from chitin, a glucose polysaccharide found in crustacean shells. Chitosan is subjected to a deacetylation process that removes the acetyl groups. This increases its solubility.
