GLUTAMINE MEGA CAPS®/MEGA CAPSULES® is a preparation that contains 100% pharmaceutical micronized form of glutamine - an amino acid found in high concentrations in muscles and plasma. Glutamine is an important amino acid for the adaptation of muscle tissue. It stores organic nitrogen, promotes the creation of a positive nitrogen balance. It distributes amino groups for transamination and eventually muscle protein synthesis. Glutamine accounts for more than 60% of the free amino acid resources in muscle cells and more than 20% of all amino acids found in the body. Micronized L-glutamine is a form more easily absorbed and much more active than traditional glutamine and glutamine peptide. Micronized glutamine increases the growth of strength and lean muscle mass. It has a strong anti-catabolic effect – it inhibits the activity of enzymes that destroy muscle proteins. It is converted to glutathione and raises the level of this substance by up to 40%; glutathione – as an antioxidant – stabilizes the membranes of cellular organelles and inhibits the release of catabolic enzymes, while – as an amino acid transporter in the gamma glutamyl cycle – facilitates protein synthesis and promotes the formation of a positive nitrogen balance. Glutamine increases cell hydration, muscle glycogen stores and anabolic growth hormone levels – while reducing catabolic cortisol levels. Accelerates the reduction of body fat. Relieves symptoms of fatigue - reducing the level of acidification of muscle cells. It supports the body in shaping proper immunity.
