Magnesium+300 from the Danish company BIOSYM - a dietary supplement, contains in each capsule 300 mg of the highest quality magnesium with high bioavailability in the form of L-pidolate and magnesium oxide. Studies have shown that these compounds in the body's assimilation exceed even commonly known chelates and are almost 2,5 times more easily absorbed than inorganic magnesium chloride.

It should be noted that the content of basic, pure magnesium in various compounds of this mineral is uneven. Magnesium citrate, so popular on the market, contains only 16% pure mineral, magnesium oxide contains it as much as 60%. And although the absorption from citrate is 29,6%, and from oxide 22,8%, still in the suggested daily dose of 667 mg of magnesium compounds (according to an article in Supplement Science from May 2013), the absorbed amount of pure magnesium will be 17,1 mg for citrate and as much as 91,2 mg for magnesium oxide.

In addition, recent studies have shown that magnesium from magnesium oxide is absorbed to a higher degree by the body's cells, which is much more important for its effectiveness and duration of action.
