Description

Dietary supplement BICAPS® ZINC contains 25 mg zinc (zinc citrate), 2,5 mg copper (copper citrate) and 260mg inulin in 1 capsule without any additives.

Zinc supports the proper metabolism of macronutrients and fatty acids. It helps in maintaining proper acid-base balance and fertility. Zinc helps maintain healthy hair, skin and nails.

Copper and zinc support the functioning of the immune system. Copper helps in the proper transport of iron in the body and in maintaining proper pigmentation of the skin and hair. In addition, it helps maintain the proper condition of connective tissues.

Zinc is a microelement necessary for the proper functioning of the body, because it participates in many of its important reactions. There is 2-4 g of zinc in the human body. The daily requirement for an adult is 8-11 mg (10).

Zinc is found in muscles, bones, skin, kidneys, and in men in the prostate.

In humans, zinc absorption occurs in the gastrointestinal tract in about 58-77%. Zinc in the form of citrate shows much better physiological activity and absorption than the most commonly used sulfates.
