Composition

High-linolenic flaxseed oil (Linum usitatissimum) cold-pressed, gelatin (coating component), moisture-retaining substance: glycerol, cholecalciferol (vitamin D3).

Daily serving (1 capsule) contains:

25 µg (1000 IU, 500%*) of vitamin D3 and 199 mg of flaxseed oil, including 119 mg of alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3).

Action

Vitamin D helps maintain healthy bones, teeth and normal levels of calcium in the blood. Supports the proper functioning of muscles and the immune system. It supports the proper absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus, and is also involved in the process of cell division. The body produces vitamin D through skin synthesis, under the influence of UV solar radiation. In the summer, however, this synthesis is limited due to the use of cosmetics with UV filters and the recommendation for older people and pregnant women to avoid excessive exposure to the sun. In the autumn and winter, the synthesis of vitamin D in the skin is limited due to reduced sunlight. In people over 65 years of age, a significant reduction in cutaneous vitamin D synthesis is also observed.

Dosage
