Chlorella is a single-celled algae that consists mainly of the nucleus and a large amount of directly available chlorophyll, a nutrient important for the health of our body.
Chlorella contains more chlorophyll in 1 grams (3-5%) than any other plant and about 60% completely digestible protein and is one of the best sources of protein in the world - in animal products such as beef, poultry and fish, the amount of protein is 18 - 30%.
In addition, chlorella contains vitamins C and E, all B vitamins (including B12), amino acids, folic acid, beta-carotene, fatty acids (omega-3), lysine and iodine.
