Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contribute to the normal function of the heart (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA). Krill Oil NKO ® Omega-3 1000 mg by Aliness is a dietary supplement containing patented NKOTM krill oil (Euphausia superba), a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, phospholipids, choline, and naturally occurring astaxanthin. The oil is obtained from fishing carried out according to the principles of sustainable fishing in the clean waters of Antarctica (fishing area FAO 48).
The product is distinguished by a very high content of krill oil in one capsule (1000 mg) and a high amount of EPA and DHA acids in the daily portion.
Omega-3 acids, in order to really support the body, must be built into cell membranes. Phospholipid form i.e. Krill oil is naturally compatible with the structure of the cell membrane, so it can be directly used by cells. Unlike classic forms of fish oil that need to be transformed, phospholipids provide omega-3s in a form ready for effective absorption and action.
Krill oil NKO™ is a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, phospholipids, choline and natural astaxanthin. The raw material is characterized by high purity, very good oxidative stability and mild odor.
Thanks to the use of modern processing methods, including fast grinding and extraction of the raw material immediately in half, krill oil retains its natural quality characteristics. The red color of the product is solely due to the presence of natural astaxanthin.
Omega-3 acids in krill oil are in the form of phospholipids, which are naturally present in the human body and are a structural element of cells. The product is a supplement to the daily diet with omega-3 acids of marine origin.
According to Codex Alimentarius STANDARD FOR FISH OILS CXS 329-2017, fish oils with a high phospholipid concentration of 30% or more, such as krill oil, must meet the following requirements and the product meets the following parameters: acid number ≤ 45 mg KOH/g, peroxide number ≤ 5 milliequivalents of active oxygen/kg oil
These oils are not tested for TOTOX content, because krill oil contains natural astaxanthin, which is a refractive component that interferes with the spectrophotometric analysis of anizidine.
Ingredients: Antarctic krill oil NKO™ (Euphausia superba), beef gelatin, water, moisture-retaining substance: glycerol.
Recommended intake: 2 capsules during a meal. Do not exceed the recommended portion for consumption during the day.
