Mastika is a natural resin known for millennia from the evergreen tree Pistacia lentiscus, growing exclusively on the Greek island of Chios, located in the Aegean Sea. It contains masticinic acids, beta resin, volatile oils and other compounds that actively support the work of our body.

GThe main use of the preparation is prevention of gastrointestinal discomfort, in particular related to the presence of Helicobacter pylori in the body. Mastika also allows you to reduce "bad breath" and provides improved oral hygiene.

Mastika is a natural herbal preparation, so it is safe for humans. It has no toxic effects and does not cause allergic reactions. Thanks to its natural origin, it does not sterilize the bacterial flora of the digestive system, nor does it bring undesirable side effects.

This is where this precious plant has the best living conditions. Pistacia lentiscus is a green shrub or small tree, reaching up to 3 meters in height. Its fruits are edible, first they turn red, then they turn black. Each part of this plant is used in a variety of fields, from gastronomy to paint production.

It is from pistachios that comes a resin called mastic – the first chewing gum, the so-called Arabic rubber, which is now necessary for food production. It was formerly used as a breath freshener to support oral health. Its operation was appreciated by Osman in 1566, its production was so important to them that they granted special privileges to villages that were engaged in the breeding of pistachio tree. Resin obtained from this tree was also called the tears of God or the tears of Chios, a large part of the local population is still engaged in obtaining resin.

Ingredients: powdered chios mastika (Pistacia lentiscus), maltodextrin, capsule (gelatin, water), anti-caking agent - magnesium salts of fatty acids.
