Thin Abbott lancets/needles are blades for making punctures. The blades are compatible with EasyTouch and FreeStyle II lancets (a popular lancet standard added to the Optium Xido Neo glucose meter), they also show compatibility with most lancets that are generally available in Poland. The improved and thinner blade ensures that the patient's discomfort is minimized, which is associated with the independent performance of frequent punctures. A blood sample obtained by a correctly performed puncture can be used to measure blood glucose levels. Each blade of the glucose meter lancet is secured with a protective cap.
