The TMA-INTEL 9 blood pressure monitor with AFdetect technology is a modern, fully automatic, digital device with advanced technology. Pressing the button after putting on the cuff causes the camera to measure blood pressure and heart rate when pumping the cuff, and then display the results on the digital display. TMA-INTEL 9 also detects symptoms of arrhythmia.
The TMA-INTEL 9 blood pressure monitor with AFdetect technology allows you to choose either standard mode (single measurement) or AF mode (automatic detection of atrial fibrillation) with MAC technology (automatic double measurement).
✅ MAC technology
The TMA-INTEL 9 blood pressure monitor is equipped with advanced MAC (Measuring Advanced Control) measurement control technology. Thanks to MAC technology, it is possible to obtain the measurement result from the analysis of two automatic measurements. The principle of operation of the technology is based on an intelligent algorithm for the analysis of changes in the amplitude of the heart rate signal, the device analyzes changes in the heart rate signal between the first and second measurement and calculates the value of blood pressure. If the difference in the amplitude variability of the heart rate signal between the first and second measurements is too large, a third measurement will be carried out.
MAC mode (two automatic measurements)
In MAC mode, 2 measurements are automatically taken sequentially, and the result is automatically analyzed and displayed on the screen. Since blood pressure is constantly fluctuating, the result determined in this way is more reliable than the result obtained by a single measurement.
How does AFdetect work?
People who suspect themselves of a problem with atrial fibrillation have the opportunity to examine themselves in this respect at home using a blood pressure monitor with AFdetect technology. If a problem with atrial fibrillation is detected during blood pressure measurement, the AF symbol appears on the display.
