ABRA NORMAL CONTROL LIQUID FOR GLUCOSE METER 4ml

ABRA control fluid is an aqueous glucose solution with a low content of chemically inert ingredients and food coloring, designed to check the accuracy of measurement using the ABRA kit. The test with control fluid is performed to determine whether the glucose meter and ABRA test strips are functioning properly, and the results given by the glucose meter are reliable

The test with the control solution should be carried out when:

• Use the glucose meter for the first time
• use a new batch of test strips
• whenever you have doubts about the functioning of the device or regularly to make sure of the accuracy (e.g. once a week)
• You set a plan for taking diabetes medication
• glucose test result is lower or higher than normal level

Composition of the control solution: Each control solution is a buffered, stabilised aqueous glucose solution (with the desired glucose content) containing preservatives and other non-reactive ingredients. The solution has been prepared to react equivalently to a whole blood sample containing approximately 44,79 mg or 220 mg/dL of glucose. The ranges (depending on the batch) are printed on the vial label.
