Ingredients: 62.5% SOLUGEL TM collagen type I hydrolysate, maltodextrin, 2.5% glucosamine sulphate 2 KCI, 2.3% methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), flavourings, acidity regulator (citric acid), 0.8% chondroitin sulphate, 0.4% vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), sweetener (sucralose), colour (beta-carotene), 0.1% sodium hyaluronate, black carrot juice concentrate powder.

The product may contain: milk, soy, cereals containing gluten, fish and peanuts .

How to use: mix 20 g of powder (4 scoops) with 200 ml of water. Consume 1 serving daily, preferably 30 minutes before a meal. The recommended daily portion of the product is 20 g. Do not exceed the recommended daily portion.

Warnings: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the product ingredients. The product cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important.

Collagen is a structural extracellular protein that constitutes almost 1/3 of the total protein in the human body. There are 28 types of collagen, the most common of which is type I collagen, which is found in skin, bones, tendons and ligaments. [3,4] The product Kolagen Forte 12 500 mg contains type I collagen hydrolysate.

MSM

MSM is also known as organic sulfur or methylsulfonylmethane. It is a volatile component of the sulfur cycle and is one of the sources of sulfur in the diet. [6] MSM occurs naturally in food, e.g. in fish, unpasteurized milk, raw vegetables. It is destroyed by heat treatment. [7]

Glucosamine sulfate

Glucosamine is a compound produced in the body from glucose and glutamine. It is a common component of the tissues and secretions of the human body. [9] It is synthesized in relatively small amounts, and its production may change with age. [9] Glucosamine is a substrate for the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, which are compounds present in the extracellular matrix of cartilage. [9] Glucosamine is most often available in the form of sulfate, hydrochloride or N-acetylglucosamine. [9]

Chondroitin sulfate

Chondroitin sulfates constitute over 80% of the glycosaminoglycans of joint cartilage. [8] Chondroitin sulfate-containing proteoglycans are also found in the aorta, skeletal muscle, eye, lung, and brain. The chondroitin sulfate content in cartilage may change with age. [8]

Vitamin C

It is a water-soluble vitamin that is also called ascorbic acid. It plays an important role in the functioning of the human body. [2] Vitamin C helps in the proper production of collagen, thus supporting the functioning of cartilage and skin. [1] Additionally, it supports the immune system and helps protect cells against oxidative stress. [1]

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a compound occurring naturally in living organisms. It is constantly exchanged in the human body, and its amount changes with age. [5] It is found m.in , in joints, blood vessel walls, the vitreous body of the eye, and in the skin. [5]
