How to use a hunting cauldron? Some useful advice:

✅RULES OF USE:

  • The boiler has already been "burned" that is, it is ready for use.
  • After using lubricate the cauldron inside with lard or oil and wipe excess with a paper towel.
  • After cooking never pour cold water into a hot cauldron as this may cause the cast iron to break.
  • It is recommended to use wooden spoons and kitchen gloves when in contact with the dish.
  • Do not use detergents to wash the cauldron, because they can penetrate the cast iron and get into the dishes.
  • Before using it is worth laying the bottom of the cauldron with aluminum foil.

✅USE OF THE CAULDRON:

  • Under an oiled and filled cauldron, light a fire
  • Properly tighten the lid of the boiler.
  • Use only dry wood, charcoal or briquet from charcoal.
  • DO NOT USE – chemical fuels, plywood, chipboard, coke, hard coal, garbage.
  • After cooking thoroughly clean, dry and preserve the cauldron with fat.
  • The product should be cleaned after each use, which will extend its service life.
