Why use a slow cooker?
1. Valuable vegetables
Pre-frying vegetables is not necessary. In a slow cooker, vegetables cook slower than meat, so cut them into pieces or slices and place on the bottom of the dish or on the sides. Vegetables prepared in a slow cooker, unlike traditional cooking, do not lose vitamins and minerals, but must be dipped in sauce.
2. Delicate meat

If you cook meat and vegetables at the same time, put the meat on the vegetables. Adjust the cooking time. Raw meat with vegetables should be cooked at least 8 hours at the LOW level. 3. Aromatic herbs
Fresh herbs add flavor and color, but they should be added at the end of the preparation of the dish, because the long cooking time reduces their aroma.
4. Pasta and rice
When preparing pasta dishes, cook the pasta first in hot water (until it softens). Add pasta to the dish during the last 30 minutes of cooking in a slow cooker. Use long grain rice in the slow cooker, unless otherwise provided in the recipe. If after the indicated time the rice is not fully cooked, add 1 to 11 cups of liquid for each glass of rice and continue cooking for 20 to 30 minutes.
