In order for the HAKURI® WX01 wax to work 100%, you need to prepare the drive properly!

1. Degreasing: The chain must be perfectly clean (without factory grease and residual old oils). Use a powerful degreaser and rinse with water.
2. Drying: Thoroughly dry the chain.
3. Application: Apply one drop of wax to each link from the inside of the chain.
4. Binding time: Leave the drive alone for a few hours (preferably overnight) so that the liquid base evaporates and the NANO TECH ceramic hard coating permanently binds to the metal.

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions About Ceramic Wax HAKURI® WX01

1. Is HAKURI® WX01 ceramic wax really better than traditional oil? Yes, if you value the cleanliness and life of the drive. Traditional oils create a sticky film that attracts sand – this in turn acts as an abrasive paste, destroying the chain and cassette from the inside. HAKURI® wax creates a dry, hard coating that does not attract dirt. Thanks to this, your drive runs quieter, lighter and wears much slower.

2. Do I need to clean the drive before each application? Only the first time! Before applying HAKURI® WX01 for the first time, the chain must be perfectly degreased (remove any remaining old oils). For subsequent applications, simply wipe the chain with a dry microfiber cloth and apply a new portion of wax.

3. What happens if I put wax on old oil? We strongly advise against such a solution. Wax will not permanently bond to metal if a greasy film remains on the surface of the cells. The result will be a “grey goo” that will quickly wipe away and waste the potential of the product. For the wax to work as promised, the foundation must be clean.

4. How many miles will I drive on one lubrication? Performance depends on conditions. Under optimal conditions (road, dry terrain), one application is enough for 200 to 300 km. In difficult terrain (mud, downpour), the chain may need to be refreshed earlier. The golden rule: if you hear that the chain is working louder – wipe it with a cloth and add a dose of wax.

5. Is the HAKURI® WX01 suitable for electric bicycles (E-bike)? Definitely yes! Electric bicycles generate much higher torque, which accelerates drive wear. Our NANO TECH technology creates a durable ceramic barrier that protects the cells from extreme loads, extending the life of expensive cassettes and chains.

6. Will the wax not rinse off during the first ride in the rain? The WX01 formula was created as “All Weather”. After correctly applying and waiting the binding time (preferably a few hours), the wax forms a bond with the metal, which is water resistant. Remember, however, that after each ride in extreme mud, it is worth wiping the drive to maintain its high working culture.

Remember: The first application determines the efficiency of the whole process!

Step 1: Preparing for a flash

• New chain/Oil chain: Must be completely degreased. We recommend the so-called. “sealing” (use our CHAIN CLEANER PRO SPEED 360 degreaser in a jar )
• Important: Wax will not combine with metal if there is even a bit of greasy grease left inside the cells.

Step 2: Shake to activate NANO TECH

• Ceramic waxes are suspensions. Before using vigorously shake the bottle for approx. 30-60 seconds. The active ingredients must mix perfectly so that the wax has the right fluidity and penetrates deep into the rollers.

Step 3: Precise application

• Apply one drop per link from the inside of the chain, slowly turning the crank backwards.
• Make a few extra crank turns to help the wax flow inside the rollers.

Step 4: Patience Pays (Rule 12h)

• Don't drive immediately after lubrication! The wax carrier must completely evaporate to leave a dry, ceramic coating.
• Best effect: Apply wax in the evening after driving – in the morning your drive will be ready for hundreds of kilometers in silence.

Step 5: More lubrication

• With subsequent applications, you no longer need to download the chain. Just wipe it with a dry microfiber cloth and repeat steps 2-4.
