The DeLonghi tubeless system minimizes the amount of ground coffee remaining in the grinder, so that only freshly ground coffee is used for each espresso.
CALCIFICATION
Decalcification, performed whenever the coffee maker requires it, is essential. The machine has an automatic descaling process and it is recommended to use only the DeLonghi EcoDecalk descaler. EcoDecalk descaler is powerful, fast, environmentally friendly and contains only natural ingredients.
For the decalcification process, add 100 ml of EcoDecalk solution to the water tank, fill it with cold, fresh water and follow the simple instructions indicated by the coffee maker. The DeLonghi water filter protects the coffee maker from limescale buildup and helps eliminate impurities from the water, improving the taste of the coffee.
Under normal conditions of use, it can be used for 2 months, after which it should be replaced with a new filter, thereby reducing the descaling frequency of the coffee maker.
