The reproduction of this dignified canoe, recreated by Nova Craft, retains both the features of rowing and the tradition of the original.
Cronje is ideal for rowers who want to challenge large, open waters, covering long distances with ease. Excellent nautical properties (easiness of maneuvering at high speed) make using Cronje a pleasure. The payload is not compromised due to speed, and the canoe copes well with both the load and without it. Its lower profile means less air resistance on the water and lower weight on the trail. Blue Steel is a hybrid material: a combination of aramid ( Kevlar) with carbon fiber. The Canoe Blue Steels are light as Aramid Lite boats, but they are even stronger.
