Design and construction
Infinix Hot 40 Pro in the Starfall Green version has a fluorescent layer on its back that creates the effect of falling stars in the dark. Thin bezels and a high screen-to-front ratio maximize the experience. Stereo speakers with DTS deliver crisp sound when watching movies and gaming.
Display
The 6,78″ FHD+ IPS panel (2460 × 1080) with camera opening offers refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The phone automatically switches between three refresh levels depending on the content, so scrolling and gaming are smooth and battery saved. The instant touch sampling rate of up to 1 200 Hz makes gesture responses virtually instantaneous. Outside, the DRE “sunlight readable” feature brightens darker areas to keep text and maps legible. The brightness is about 500 nits.
Performance and memory
The MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core, 6-nm chip maintains a fast response both in everyday use and in popular games. 8 GB of RAM can be virtually expanded to 16 GB, and you can supplement the 256 GB memory with a microSD card up to 1 TB – space for multitasking and files will not run out. The “Gaming Engine/XBOOST” gaming engine stabilizes the frame rate to make it more enjoyable to play.
Working time and charging
The 5 000 mAh battery supports 33W Enduring FastCharge fast charging — 20 to 75% in about 35 minutes. The battery is designed for up to 1 600 charge cycles. Power Marathon mode in emergency situations adds approx. 2 hours of talk time at 5% capacity — useful belaying on the go.
Camera
The rear triple camera 108 Mpix (HM6) takes detailed, clear photos; it is complemented by a 2-Mpix macro for truly close shots. The front camera 32 Mpix has its own illumination and 90° wide field of view, so it can handle group selfies even in worse light. There are modes such as night portrait, Dual-View video or creative "Sky Remap", which give the shots an interesting atmosphere without complicated settings.
