Thanks to this, the image displayed on it is always legible, even in full sun, while running, swimming or cycling. Ultra-narrow bezels (2 mm / 1,8 mm) make the display almost completely fill the entire front. Always-on screen (AOD) technology will allow you to have the most important information always at hand, without having to wake up your watch.

HUAWEI WATCH 5 is equipped with a completely new HUAWEI X-TAP sensor, located on the side of the watch. It combines an ECG sensor, a photopletismograph and a 10-level touch sensor in one module. This is the first smartwatch on the market that allows you to measure blood oxygenation with oxygen (SpO2) from your fingertip in real time. With just one touch and hold your finger on the side sensor, you can know your blood oxygen levels in 10 seconds. The X-TAP sensor uses the unique properties of the fingertip – its thin skin and dense structure of blood vessels, which minimizes interference that can occur when measuring only with a wrist sensor.

X-TAP technology perfectly integrates into the improved TruSense system, which collects and analyzes data from the sensor on the wrist and from an additional sensor located on the side of the smartwatch case. Thanks to this solution, it is possible to obtain more precise health monitoring results in a shorter time. It also allows you to combine a lot of information and draw correlations and the resulting conclusions. For example, the watch will combine two worse sleep nights with higher stress levels and suggest rest.

Just hold the X-TAP sensor for 3 seconds to start a less than a minute measurement covering as many as 9 key health indicators: heart rate, ECG, HRV (heart rate variability), stress level, arterial stiffness, respiratory control, saturation, body temperature and quality of breathing during sleep. All data are presented in the form of a clear and understandable report available in the HUAWEI Health application. Importantly, regular collection of this information will help you notice potential irregularities faster, and smart notifications will keep you informed about the condition of your body. How to set up NFC payments on your Huawei watch

1. Download the Curve Pay app from HUAWEI AppGallery, the Google Play store or AppStore and install it on your smartphone.
2. Sign up for the Curve Pay app, then add your cards to your Curve Pay digital wallet and select the one you want to use for payment.
3. Update your watch software to the latest version. In the HUAWEI Health app on your phone, go to your device, then select AppGallery¹ and install the Curve Pay app on your watch².
4. Launch the Curve Pay app on your watch, then in the Curve Pay app on your smartphone, select Launchpad, then Wearables and launch the contactless payment feature through your watch.
5. On your watch, go to Settings > More Calls > NFC > Default Payment App and select Curve Pay. Then go to Settings > Lock Code > Set Lock Code and select Payment Application.
6. From now on, enjoy contactless payments on your watch.
