MEDICAL DEVICE

NovoFine® needles are an integral part of Novo Nordisk’s insulin delivery system and can be used for all Novo Nordisk pens (NovoPen® 4 and NovoPen® Junior).

NovoFine® needles are manufactured using state-of-the-art technology to ensure the excellence of the final product. Thin wall technology allows you to reduce resistance to insulin flow. The ease of insertion of NovoFine® needles increases the use of a silicone coating, reducing the resistance generated by piercing the skin.

Remember that all NovoFine® needles are disposable! After the injection, the injection should be removed and a new needle should be inserted for the next injection. Using the same needle several times may cause:

• feeling pain when injecting,
• infections,
• destruction of the epidermis,
• blocking the flow of insulin (due to crystallization of insulin previously injected with the same needle).

Remember to unscrew the used needle after insulin injection! Leaving the needle unscrewed on the insulin delivery device after the injection may cause insulin leakage or air to enter the insulin reservoir.
