🐛 What is MOSPILAN 20 SP?
MOSPILAN 20 SP is a plant protection product designed for use by professional users. The product is an insecticide in the form of a water-soluble powder, intended for the control of sucking and biting pests in many agricultural, fruit, vegetable, ornamental, forestry and energy crops.
The preparation may be used with self-propelled or tractor field sprayers, self-propelled or tractor orchard sprayers, hand sprayers and agricultural apparatus, in accordance with the scope of application indicated in the label.
MOSPILAN 20 SP acts on contact and gastrointestinal pests, which is why it is used in protecting plants from insects damaging leaves, shoots, flowers, fruits, pods and other parts of plants. On the plant, it has a surface, deep and systemic effect.
🧪 Composition and action
Content of the active substance:
- acetamipride - compound from the group of neonicotinoid derivatives – 20 %
MOSPILAN 20 SP contains the active substance acetamipride, a compound derived from neonicotinoid derivatives. It is an insecticide that interacts with nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, according to IRAC group 4A classification.
The preparation has a contact and gastrointestinal effect on sucking and biting pests. When applied to the plant, it acts surface, deep and systematically, which means that it can affect not only the surface of the sprayed parts of plants, but also after penetration into plant tissues.

MOSPILAN 20 SP is designed for use in a wide range of crops. According to the label, it can be used in the following crops and applications:

Preparation of usable liquid in the case of packaging without water-soluble film bags:
- Before preparing the usable liquid, it is necessary to carefully determine the amount needed
- Pour the weighed amount of agent into the tank of the sprayer partially filled with water, with the stirrer on
- in the case of treatments in forests, pour a measured amount of adjuvant
- Rinse the emptied packages three times with water and pour the rinses into the sprayer tank with usable liquid
- refill the sprayer tank with water to the required amount
- After pouring the agent into the tank of the sprayer not equipped with a hydraulic agitator, the liquid should be mechanically mixed
Preparation of the usable liquid in the case of an agent in water-soluble film bags:
- Before preparing the usable liquid, it is necessary to carefully determine the amount needed
- Unit bags of the preparation should be removed from the multipack and from the protective packaging
- throw the bags successively into the tank of the sprayer filled with water in the required amount, with the stirrer on
- Mix thoroughly until the film is completely dissolved
- recommended mixing time is about 1,5 minutes, but not less than 1,0 minutes
- do not tear the water-soluble film and do not pour the product out of the bags
- agent in bags of water-soluble film should not be used in agro-aviation treatments
Precautions for use:
- do not eat, drink or smoke while using the product
- use protective gloves, eye protection, face protection and workwear during the preparation of the liquid and the procedure
- spraying against pests, especially pests with prickly-sucking mouth apparatus, should be carried out thoroughly, covering all parts of plants with usable liquid
- in the case of use of the product during the flowering of winter rapeseed, fruit plants, vegetable and ornamental plants, in order to protect bees and other pollinators, the product is recommended to be used outside the period of their activity on the plantation
- do not contaminate water with a plant protection product or its packaging
- do not wash apparatus near surface waters
- avoid water pollution through drainage ditches from farms and roads
- avoid incompatible release into the environment
