Karate Zeon 050 CS 100 ml is an insecticide in the form of a concentrate for dilution with water. The preparation is intended for the control of selected biting and sucking pests in vegetable, fruit and agricultural plants indicated in the label.

The active substance is lambda-cyhalothrin 50 g/l, a compound of the pyrethroid group. The preparation acts contact and gastrointestinal, and on the plant acts surface.

The product will work m.in. when controlling potato stonka, aphids, onion litter, cabbage litter, thrips, endosperm caterpillars, cruciferous tannins and millet uterus – in accordance with the scope of application given in the label.

Why is it worth highlighting this product in the summer?

In summer, pests often appear in the garden, which quickly damage the leaves, shoots and young parts of plants. In potatoes, the problem is larvae and beetles of potato beetles, in cabbage cabbage aphids, caterpillars of eagles, cruciferous tannins and cabbage litter, and in onions thrips tobacco and onion litter.

Karate Zeon 050 CS works most effectively at temperatures below 20°C. On warmer days, the procedure should be performed at the end of the day, avoiding full sun, high temperature, wind and periods of bee activity.

Insecticide for plant protection

Karate Zeon 050 CS 100 ml is an insecticide designed to control biting and sucking pests. The preparation is in the form of a suspension of capsules in a liquid, which must be diluted with water before use.

The agent acts contact and gastrointestinal. This means that it acts on pests after contact with the usable liquid and after taking the substance during foraging.

For potato steed

Karate Zeon 050 CS can be used in potato against larvae and beetles of potato beetle. The procedure should be performed after the occurrence of the pest.

The higher of the recommended doses is used to control beetles and in the case of lush potato incision. The withdrawal period for potatoes is 7 days.

On aphids in selected crops

The preparation can be used on aphid in potato, apple aphid in apple tree, cabbage aphid in head cabbage and aphids in chokeberry.

With suction pests, it is important to cover plants very thoroughly with usable liquid. Spraying should also cover the places where aphids form colonies.

For onion litter and cabbage litter

The agent can also be used against onion litter in onions and cabbage litter in head cabbage grown in the ground.

The treatment for onion litter is performed during the raid of flies, i.e. at the beginning of lilac flowering. Cabbage litter treatment is performed in the initial flowering period of chestnut.

For thrips

Karate Zeon 050 CS can be used on tobacco thrips in onions and head cabbage. Thypes are small, difficult to notice and often feed in the nooks and crannies of plants.

The procedure should be performed after the occurrence of the first pests or after noticing the symptoms of foraging. Accurate coating of plants with usable liquid is of great importance for the effectiveness of spraying.

For caterpillars in cabbage

In head cabbage, the agent can be used against caterpillars cabbage white, patellar eagle and cruciferous tannin.

Spraying is performed during the period of mass hatching of caterpillars. Early treatment helps to reduce damage to cabbage leaves.

19. What temperature should I use the product at?

The agent works more effectively below 20°C. At a higher temperature, perform the procedure at the end of the day.

Not recommended. The procedure is best performed at the end of the day, especially at a higher temperature.
