BabyTemp FR 800 Non-Contact Thermometer – Fast, Precise and Hygienic Temperature Measurement

BabyTemp FR 800 by Sanity is a modern non-contact thermometer that is ideal for daily temperature control in both children and adults. With its infrared (IR) technology, it allows for precise and lightning-fast measurement in just 2 seconds, without having to touch the skin. It is a perfect solution for toddlers in whom traditional methods of temperature measurement can cause stress and discomfort – now you can measure the temperature even during sleep, without waking the baby!

For non-contact measurement of body temperature in infants, children and adults, and ambient temperature, objects and liquids.

Method of use

• Move the slider switch up to set the body temperature measurement mode.
• Press the O/I button. All symbols will appear on the display. For ok. 2 seconds will automatically display the M symbol and the result of the last temperature measurement.
• Then a flashing symbol °C will appear on the screen and a short beep will sound - this means that the thermometer is ready for use.
• Point the thermometer at the center of the forehead from a distance of no more than 5 cm and press the “SCAN” button to start the measurement. To improve the accuracy of the measurement, hair, sweat and dirt should be removed from the forehead.
• After 2 seconds, a longer beep will be heard, which means the measurement is completed.
• Read the result from the display.

Important tips

• Do not use the product for any purpose other than its intended purpose; when using it to measure the temperature of children, please follow the general safety rules.
• The thermometer is made using high-quality precision components. It should be protected from falls and strong impacts and shocks.
• Do not use the thermometer in case of damage to the measuring head or thermometer housing, do not try to repair it.
• The patient whose temperature will be measured and the thermometer must be at a stable room temperature for at least 30 minutes before the measurement is made.
• After continuous measurement, wait at least 2 minutes to turn the thermometer back on or off.
• Do not measure the temperature immediately or shortly after feeding.
• Absolutely do not use the thermometer in a high temperature environment.
• Before or during the measurement, do not drink, eat or remain motionless.
• Before using the thermometer, the place of its application should be washed, dust, hair or sweat removed.
• Before measuring the temperature of the object, clean the object from dust or dirt.
• Clean the body and measuring head with an alcohol swab or cotton cloth immersed in alcohol and do not allow the liquid to enter the inner part of the product. Do not use abrasive cleaners, thinners or gases for cleaning. Do not immerse the product in water or other liquid. Proceed carefully so as not to scratch the LCD surface.
• If the device is not used for a long time, remove the battery from the device to avoid damaging the thermometer due to electrolyte leakage.
• The thermometer should be stored in a clean and dry place, at a temperature of -20°C to +55°C and avoid direct sunlight.

Warnings

• The use of a thermometer in no case replaces a visit to the doctor.
• Do not immerse the thermometer in water or other liquid as it is not waterproof.
