The “BOPON Hydrogel” agent is designed to store water in the substrate / soil in pots, crates, as well as in the ground. It is intended for use in the cultivation of ornamental, fruit and vegetable plants and for setting up lawns.

The agent binds water from watering, rain and dew, preventing, among others. excessive water content in the root environment (i.e. “overflowing” plants). In case of water shortage in the substrate (e.g. during periods of drought or infrequent watering), the agent releases water to plants. The process of binding and releasing water through the agent occurs repeatedly, which makes the plants protected against overflow and water shortages throughout the growing season. The agent also has the ability to accumulate nutrients, thus contributing to their better use by plants.

The agent consists of 100 % sodium polyacrylate. 10 g of the agent adsorbs (binds) up to 2,5 l of water.
