A mercury-free clinical thermometer is a medical device designed to measure a patient's body temperature. The device is filled with an alloy of gallium, indium, and tin, thanks

why it is a safe (non-toxic) alternative to traditional mercury thermometers.

APPLICATION

• The mercury-free clinical thermometer is designed to measure body temperature in adults and children.
• Temperature measurement can be performed under the armpit, in the mouth or in the anus - depending on the needs and age of the patient.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

• The mercury-free clinical thermometer works without the use of electronics and batteries, so it is always ready to use.
• Temperature measurement is carried out by observing the level of the measuring liquid on the thermometer scale.

MEASUREMENT

• The thermometer must be disinfected before use,
• check that the liquid column is below 36°C,
• place the thermometer at the selected measurement location for 4 minutes,
• After the measurement is completed, read the temperature and shake the measuring liquid below 36°C.

The thermometer should be cleaned with a soft cloth with detergent and then disinfected with alcohol.

PRECAUTIONS

• The thermometer is designed for classic body temperature measurement. It should not be used as an ovulation thermometer or thermometer to measure the temperature of premature babies.
• Do not eat, smoke or bathe 1 hour before measuring. This may affect the result of body temperature measurement.
• The thermometer should be kept out of reach of children.
• Be careful not to damage the thermometer. In case of damage and spillage of metal alloy, use a damp cloth with soap to wipe clean, with caution.
• Do not use hot water to sterilize the thermometer. Use in children only under adult supervision.
• Do not measure the temperature in the mouth of children under 10 years of age.
• The use of a thermometer is not a substitute for medical consultation. If you have a persistent fever, contact your doctor.
