Self-adhesive waterproof foam, soundproofing rubber K6s from Bitmat

K6s Bitmat soundproofing mat – rubber insulation foam with closed cell structure with the highest quality layer of strong adhesive, has high acoustic and insulation properties.

The material does not absorb moisture, is resistant to chemicals, creates an acoustic barrier and perfectly absorbs noise and isolates from temperature (thermal).

High damping foam designed for use in a wide temperature range from -50 to 85°C

It does not shrink or oxidize unlike polyurethane materials. It has the best insulation properties and loss of acoustic waves.

Adequate density and cell structure provides a wide spectrum of suppressed frequencies, and the material from which it is made retains its damping parameters at both low and high temperatures.

No heating required for installation.

Rubber mat with a layer of strong adhesive K6s with a closed cell structure, can be used in places where moisture is present (does not absorb water), has the best acoustic and insulation properties.

The material is resistant to oils and creates a thermoacoustic barrier, which excellently absorbs noise.

First, you should stick on the sheet butyl mat from the AB series, mapping the shape of the sheet. Butyl mats absorb vibration and create a barrier to noise. The second layer is K6s foam from Bitmat — soundproofing rubber rubber with a strong adhesive that insulates and absorbs noise.

Example number of butyl mats and rubber foams needed to soundproof the car*:

• Front pair of doors: 2 m2 butyl mat and 1 m2 rubber foam 6 mm
• Rear pair of doors: 1,5 m2 butyl and 1 m2 rubber foam 6 mm
• Luggage compartment with wheel arches: 3 m2 butyl mat and 3 m2 rubber foam 6 mm
• Floor with engine compartment: 3,5 m2 butyl mat and 3,5 m2 pieces of 6 mm rubber foam
• Roof: 2 m2 butyl mat and 2 m2 pieces of 6 mm rubber foam

Assembly in cars:

• Surface should be cleaned and degreased
• Cut the right piece of mat
