The presence of rodents in food storage facilities and places means that they are already using the available resources. They are not looking for a new source – they return where food is readily available.

In this situation, it is crucial to act without changing their habits. The bait must be part of the environment, not its addition. It should be located exactly where rodents feed and be taken as a natural element of available food.

The RatOut® grain has been designed as a bait for use in places where rodents have constant access to natural food – such as warehouses, granaries or utility rooms. In these conditions, it is crucial to match the form of the bait to the feeding environment, so that it does not stand out from the available resources and is taken without changing habits.

The natural form of the grain corresponds to the diet of rodents in such places, thanks to which bait is treated as part of the available food and taken during daily activity.

Special Absorption technology involves deep saturation of the grain with the active substance, which allows its presence inside the bait structure and maintaining properties during use.

Action begins after collection – the active substance, brodifacoum, works with a delay, which reduces the risk of behavioral changes in other individuals and allows their numbers to be gradually reduced. The discouraging substance used further reduces the risk of accidental consumption.

Brodifakum is an active substance from the group of anticoagulants, used in modern rodent baits. After collection, disrupts the process of blood clotting, which leads to a gradual weakening of the pest's body. Works with delay as follows:

• After taking the bait, the rodents return to their hiding places and function unchanged.

• Gradual action – after a few days there is a weakening of the body.

• No alarm response – other rodents continue to take the bait.

It is this mechanism that makes the substance so valued. Thanks to it, it is possible to gradually eliminate the entire population of rodents in a given place, without arousing their vigilance.

Each RatOut® grain is a compact, uniform form that does not disintegrate during transport or deployment. Thanks to this, the lure retains its form at the place of laying and does not create dust or small fractions.

In Special Absorption technology, the active substance is introduced into the grain instead of remaining on its surface. This process allows for even distribution of the active ingredient throughout the bait structure.

Use of poison on mice and rats RatOut®

Poison in the form of RatOut® grains works everywhere there are signs of rodent presence – such as feces, paths of movement, burrows, bitten objects or sounds coming from the walls.

To increase the effectiveness of the lure, it is worth placing along the walls, in the corners, at the entrances and in places of the most common rodent activity.

Regularly control the points of poison lining and replenish it where it was taken, especially in places with high activity. This is a signal that the area needs further action.

Correct use of poison for rats and mice RatOut®

To properly apply RatOut® rat poison, remove other food sources before laying and avoid disturbing rodent habitats.

Rat poison should be placed in a deratization station allowing restriction of access to the preparation by bystanders and non-deratization animals.

Stations with rodenticide poison should be placed out of reach of bystanders and pets and in such a way as to limit the impact of weather conditions. Recommended minimum distance between stations is 5 m.
