This is Polish version . Printed Polish manual . The Safe-AQ Smart glucometer is a modern glucometer for self-monitoring of sugar levels in the treatment of diabetes. It is small and intuitive to use. The glucose measurement result is obtained within 5 seconds of administering a 0.6 µl blood sample.

Despite its small size, the Safe-AQ Smart glucometer has a large and easy-to-read display that ensures results in all conditions, regardless of the time of day.

Declaration of Conformity: The Safe-AQ glucometer and Safe-AQ glucometer strips meet the requirements of EU regulatory standards for in vitro diagnostic medical devices - Directive 98/79/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (" IVD Directive "). They are marked with the CE0123 mark issued by the German Institute for TÜV SÜD quality .

With the help of Soft Twist lancets, a blood sample is obtained, used in various types of diagnostic tests. They are perfect for testing blood glucose levels.

Basic functions of Safe-AQ Smart glucose meter:

The Safe-AQ family of glucose meters uses the most modern GDH-FAD enzyme available on the market (also called FAD-GDH), which eliminates the impact of as many as 74 endogenous and exogenous substances, including simple sugars such as maltose, galactose, fructose and many drugs such as ampicillin, penicillin, ibuprofen, ascorbic acid, etc. In addition, the enzyme technology used in the Safe-AQ glucose meter allows you to perform tests from blood taken not only from the finger but also from other parts of the body and directly from blood taken from the vein, which is why the glucose meter can be used in hospital wards as a basic diagnostic tool.

Safe-AQ Smart glucose meter is also a hospital glucose meter used in clinics and POZ clinics as part of the basic care services provided by the National Health Fund in ZOZ and NZOZ on Polish territory. Due to the very attractive prices of strips, it is a very economical glucose meter and the most economically justified alternative tool for glucose testing by professional medical personnel.

The harmonised accuracy standard EN ISO 15197:2015 for glucose monitoring systems has been in force throughout Europe since 1 July 2017.

The ISO standard specifies the minimum accuracy threshold that blood glucose monitoring systems (i.e. glucose meters) must achieve in order to be allowed to enter the market of European Union countries. The new harmonised standard EN ISO 15197:2015 is based on international standards for blood glucose monitoring systems ISO 15197:2013.

Consequently, glucose meter strips which do not meet the new standard cannot be imported into any EU country.
