In the event of a fall into the water, the salt lozenge dissolves immediately, pierces the cartridge with compressed CO₂ and pumps the air chamber in less than 5 seconds. To prepare the vest for reuse: - Release air from it using a tube stopper to pump with your mouth. - Fold the bag and fasten the outer shell. Replace the cartridge and salt lozenge according to the instructions on the replacement kit: 8303768.

The order of assembly must be observed: 1. Remove the CO₂ cartridge and salt lozenge, 2. Replace salt lozenge

3. Replace the CO₂ cartridge. If this order is not maintained, there is a risk of piercing the new cartridge if the actuator system with the salt lozenge has been previously used.

The dates shown on the CO₂ cartridge and salt lozenge have different meanings: Salt lozenge = expiry date. After this date, the lozenge should be replaced. CO₂ cartridge = date of manufacture. After 5 years from this date, the cartridge should be replaced.
