Designed for a sailor weighing from 40 to 130 kg, with a waist circumference of 60 to 130 cm.
In the event of a fall into the water, the salt lozenge dissolves immediately, pierces the cartridge with compressed CO₂ and pumps the air chamber in less than 5 seconds. To prepare the vest for reuse: - Release the air from it using a tube stopper to pump with your mouth; - Fold the bag and fasten the outer shell. Replace the cartridge and salt lozenge according to the instructions on the replacement kit: 8303768.
- CO₂ cartridge: check that it is not punctured, does not show signs of corrosion, or is screwed in well. - Trigger (black): well screwed, not expired, green cap in place. - Punch (yellow): a green seal (green triangle) in place, indicating that the vest has not been activated. - Vest: complete, no signs of wear (tearing, fraying), pumped compartment folded into the cover.
In addition, regularly (at least once a year): - inflate the vest with a mouthpiece and leave inflated for 24 hours: the vest must not lose pressure, - check the expiration dates of the cartridge.
