Advantages of K-type rubber foams from Bitmat

The appropriate density and structure of cells provides a wide spectrum of suppressed frequencies, and the material from which it is made retains its damping parameters at both low and high temperatures. what cannot be said about polyurethane or polyethylene materials.

The advantage of this material is also its ease of installation: the mats are self-adhesive, and their structure is composed of the so-called. closed cells, which guarantees a strong hold.

The best results can be achieved by using butyl mats AB-2 (2 mm) or AB-25 (2,5 mm) in combination with rubber foams to create a two-layer acoustic barrier against hum and noise.

First, you should apply a butyl mat from the AB series, mapping the shape of the sheet metal (they absorb vibrations and create a barrier to noise). The second layer is type K foam from Bitmat – soundproofing rubber with a strong adhesive (insulates and absorbs noise).
