Nozzle for cleaning windows

The window nozzle thoroughly cleans glass surfaces with an evaporator. This makes the Kärcher evaporators more versatile and clean windows and mirrors thoroughly. Pressure steam helps remove residues that were difficult to get rid of with traditional methods.

Nozzle for smoothing creases

Say goodbye to creases! Thanks to the steamer, clothes regain their beautiful appearance in no time. It also makes refreshing clothes, curtains and many other textiles quick and easy, as well as removing unpleasant odors. The clothes steamer turns any Kärcher steam cleaner into a steamer whose ultra-dry and hot steam penetrates the fabric to refresh the fibers all the way to the core. The liquefied water generated during evaporation with this attachment is collected in a separate tank, which can simply be emptied into the sink or even into the steam cleaner tank.

EasyFix - No Contact with Dirt

EasyFix is the latest microfiber pad attachment system for the floor nozzle (using Velcro). It allows you to attach and remove the pad, reducing the need to bend down.

Changing the pad happens without your hands needing to touch the dirt. Thanks to the innovative lamella technology, steam is evenly distributed across the cleaning surface and the microfiber cloth.

The floor nozzle has a movable joint that guarantees constant contact between the nozzle and the floor during operation, even when cleaning under furniture.

The SC 5 EASYFIX Iron Plug floor set ensures maximum cleanliness and hygiene when cleaning tiles, PVC, laminate surfaces, and lacquered parquet.

VapoHydro function - Strong and safe steam with stepless adjustment

The VapoHydro function gives the possibility of stepless regulation of steam humidity. The wetter the steam, the better the flushing effect, the drier the better the dirt removal. Adjust the humidity of the steam perfectly to your needs.

Strong steam at a pressure of 4,2 bar, ensures effective removal of dirt even in hard-to-reach places.

The SC 5 EASYFIX Iron Plug is equipped with a safe pressure valve to prevent the boiler from opening when there is high pressure.

In contrast, the safe lock protects against accidental pressing of the steam gun, e.g. by children.

The Karcher SC 5 is ideal for a variety of surfaces:

Shower cabins

• To remove soap or limescale deposits from the shower enclosure surface, use an absorbent microfiber coating (included).
• If you want to prevent stains, collect water from the cabin after each shower. For this we recommend Karcher WV 2 and WV 5 washers available on our other auctions.
• For cleaning grout, a nozzle for details with a round brush will work best.
• The steam stream combined with vigorous scrubbing will remove even stubborn dirt. NOTE: Silicone grout should be cleaned gently, only with a steam stream.
• After steam cleaning, dry the damp surface with a soft, absorbent cloth.

Heating plates and ovens

• Steam cleaning of ceramic tiles is extremely simple. Simply attach the round brush to the detail nozzle (point), and then apply a spiral washer to it.
• You do not have to worry about scratching the surface of the plate and the surface of stainless steel, because hot steam produces a kind of "pillow", on which the spiral dishwasher "soars". Metal dishwashers are available at any household goods store.
• To clean joints, corners, sink or gas stove, use the round detail brush itself, without a metal dishwasher.
• Due to safety requirements, all electrical appliances must be disconnected from the electricity during cleaning with the evaporator.

Kitchen hoods

• Remove greasy stains that disfigure steel hoods, countertops and ovens with a hand nozzle in a soft microfiber or terry coating. Then wipe dry with an absorbent cloth.
• Sometimes, to clean the hood from a stubborn layer of dirt, it is necessary to wash the surface several times with steam.
• When cleaning, grease and dirt accumulate on the coatings, so remember to replace them often.
• Clean the surface gradually and alternately - once with a steam nozzle, once with a soft cloth.
• To avoid streaks, at the end of the work, polish the surface with a soft cloth.

Windows and glazed surfaces

• Before using steam window cleaning, perform a pre-cleaning. Wipe each window thoroughly with a hand nozzle with the coating applied.
• Then apply the steam to the entire surface. NOTE: If you wash windows in winter, the windows must first be heated with steam from a greater distance.
• Remove steam with a window squeegee or use the Karcher WV 2 / WV 5 or WV 6 window washer for better effect (available at our other auctions). If water drops appear on the window frame, remove them with a cloth.
• With a power nozzle or round brush, you can effectively clean the profiles of door frames and balcony doors made of waterproof materials.

Fittings

• To prevent scratching of the fittings, use a nozzle for details without a round brush.
• The nozzle should be kept close to the cleaned object until the stone sediment is removed. NOTE: surfaces covered with a thick layer of stone should be sprayed with a detergent based on citric acid and wait a while until it soaks into the sediment, then the contamination should be removed with steam.
• Regular cleaning of the fittings prevents limescale build-up.
