The set is carefully and precisely made of highly durable chrome vanadium steel (CrV) with the technique of making: mat finish + Knurling, which significantly increases their durability and service life. The set is useful in any professional car workshop as well as in the backyard garage. The whole is packed in a handy and solid foam. Chrome vanadium steel (CrV steel) – a special variety of steel, mainly used in Europe. Used in the manufacture of tools, e.g. keys and drills. In the case of this steel variety, its hardenability is increased by the use of chromium and vanadium as alloying additives. The use of a combination of these two elements can also produce synergistic effects that have not yet been comprehensively defined. Chromium guarantees the resistance of steel to corrosion, oxidation, abrasion and high strength at high temperature. The addition of vanadium inhibits the growth of grains during heat treatment, while increasing the ductility of both hardened and tempered forms. Set useful m.in. for wheel hubs, VW oil stopper.
