The Magene L508 lamp has an additional function, it is a built-in radar, which allows the cyclist to "see" whether there is a car / motorcycle behind it. Information can be transmitted to one of the many compatible meters via ANT+ and Bluetooth protocols. The radar operates at a distance of 140m, which allows you to prepare for overtaking the car. If we use a counter with a color screen, the intensity of the color on the screen will tell us the speed of the approaching vehicle.

The bicycle light has car detection up to 140m behind the bike. Horizontal viewing angle is 40 degrees. When the car is detected, information is sent to the connected bicycle computer or watch. A warning will appear on the screen and dots showing the distance of vehicles from the cyclist (the way of presentation depends on the company producing the bicycle meter)

The Magene radar light has an IPX7 tightness. This is a guarantee of water resistance and dust resistance.

The battery of the device is easy to charge via USB-C port.

The easy tool-free installation system is also designed with vibration reduction in mind. The device can be mounted to the seat post on durable rubber bands. In the upper part there is a hole for the "lead", which will protect against losing the lamp if it is removed.

In addition to standard operating modes, the bicycle light with radar also offers a number of possibilities tailored to a specific user. After installing the Magene Utility APP and pairing it with the lamp, we can set our own interval or lighting scenarios. Thanks to the application, we can also update the lamp software (possible problems with installing subsequent updates can not be the basis for complaints, the function depends on the manufacturer)
