Dashcams is a reliable car gadget that every driver should own. However, the size of the car cameras, mounted on the windshield and partially obstructing visibility, is a significant problem. With a dash cam built into the mirror, you'll never run into this problem again!
Even regular drivers can easily install dashcam. Simply use the included rubber bands to secure it around your car mirror, and you're done!
The mounting place makes it much easier to drive because it does not obstruct the view from the windshield and mirror does not distort the image, so you can use it without any worries!
The pictures below show examples of assembly diagrams.
- Mount the dashboard camera on the mirror and connect the reversing camera to it.
- Mount the reversing camera over the license plate or behind the rear window using the included screws or self-adhesive foam.
- Connect the reversing camera power to the reverse bulb*
You can easily hide the cable in the upholstery!
Step three is optional. When you connect the camera to the reverse light, the dash cam will automatically switch to the rearview camera when you engage the reverse gear, turning on the LEDs to improve visibility and guide lines indicating the distance between you and obstacles. If you don't need these features, you don't need to plug in the power supply and switch the view using the control panel buttons. The car camera can also be operated without connecting the rearview camera!
It is recommended that the camera be installed by experienced personnel, preferably a mechanic or electrician.
Buttons located on the bottom of the mirror provide full control over the device. You can easily turn your device on or off, put it in standby mode, change the date and time, view saved photos and videos, and most importantly, start or stop recording!
The device supports microSD memory cards up to 32GB. The ability to record several minutes of videos in a loop saves a lot of space on the memory card, so you do not have to worry that in case of failure the most important moment will not be captured on the video!
In addition, the panel allows you to switch the view from the camera.
With one button you can change the display mode of both cameras as shown below:
