You fertilize and water your conifers, and they still brown from the inside and wither in your eyes? Your carefully sown vegetables suddenly lie on the ground and rot? These are classic symptoms of phytophorosis and gangrene of seedlings – dangerous fungal diseases that attack plants from the root side, where ordinary spraying does not reach.

Proplant 722 SL (Twój Ogród) 100ml is a professional, specialized fungicide that acts as an antibiotic targeting the most dangerous soil pathogens. It is designed to protect vegetables and ornamental plants. Stops the disease at its source before it can destroy the entire crop or hedge.

Why is Proplant 722 SL a Last Chance Drug?

✅ DESTROYS FUNGUS IN SOIL AND ROOTS Ordinary agents only work on leaves. You can use Proplant in the form of watering. The preparation penetrates the substrate, disinfects it, and then is taken up by the roots of the plant, treating it from the very bottom.

Application – What is Proplant fighting?

The agent is extremely versatile, protects both vegetables and ornamental plants (in the ground and under cover):

• Phytophorosis (browning and dying of conifers, rhododendrons, heathers).
• Gangrene of seedlings (rolling over and rotting young plants, e.g. tomatoes, cabbage).
• Alleged mildew (yellow-brown spots on leaves, e.g. in cucumbers, lettuce).

Instructions for Use – Two Methods of Application

Depending on the disease, the preparation is used preventively or interventionally. (The exact dosage for each crop is provided in the package leaflet that comes with the product.)

💧 1. WATERING (Substrate decontamination and root treatment):

• The best method for phytophorosis and gangrene of seedlings.
• Average dosage: e.g. 15-30 ml of preparation per 10 liters of water (depending on the plant).
• With the solution, water the soil around the affected plant abundantly or sanitize the substrate before sowing seeds.

💦 2. SPRAY (Treatment of the above-ground part):

• The best method for powdery mildew (e.g. on cucumber leaves).
• Pour the measured dose into the sprayer and thoroughly cover the plants with mist.

Customers often ask us whether browning their conifers is a dangerous disease (which will be combated by Proplant) or just mistakes in care. Here is a simple cheat sheet to help you make the right diagnosis in your garden:

🔴 SYMPTOMS OF PHYTOPHOROSIS (Be sure to use Proplant 722 SL):

• Direction of dying: The bush begins to lose its luster, gray and brown from below and from the trunk side, often only on one side of the plant. Changes are progressing quite quickly.
• Bark test (reliable way): If you gently scrape the bark with a knife at the very base of the trunk (just off the ground), the tissue underneath will be red-brown (instead of healthy, light/greenish).
• No watering reaction: Despite the moist soil, the plant still wilts and tarnishes. Why? Because the fungus destroyed the root system and the tuja has no way to "drink" water.

🟡 SYMPTOMS OF DRYNESS OR LACK OF FERTILIZER (Apply fertilizer to regenerate conifers):

• Direction of dying: Yellow and brown external tips of twigs, often evenly throughout the bush or from the side of strong sun/wind (e.g. after winter).
• Natural phenomenon: If in autumn or early spring redheads become only needles in the middle of the bush (in the depths, at the trunk), and the external growths are perfectly green – this is a natural process of shedding old needles. Just shake them off!

💡 GOLDEN GARDENER'S COUNCIL: Phytophorosis spreads in the ground with water. If one thuja in your hedge is already completely dead (red and dry), dig it up and burn it. Then immediately water the soil under all adjacent shrubs abundantly, even if they still look healthy. In this way, you will block the growth of the fungus and save the rest of the hedge!
