A special membrane microfilter eliminates 99,999999% of bacteria (including E-Cola) and 99,999% of parasites. The use of an activated carbon filter, on the other hand, has a beneficial effect on improving the taste of water and removing chlorine, unpleasant odors and chemicals.

Membrane microfilter has a capacity of 4000 liters. We estimate that it should be replaced once a year. This filter ends its lifespan when the flow rate is drastically reduced or completely blocked. The membrane filter effectively eliminates bacteria, parasites and microplastics.

The LifeStraw filter with activated carbon is enough for approx. 100 liters. We estimate that it should be replaced every 2 months, assuming that you use about 2,5 liters of water per day. If you use the product less frequently, you can adjust the estimated time it takes to replace activated carbon.
