Fenix HM65R is a reliable headlamp equipped with two light emitters with a total stream of 1400 lumens, charging system via USB-C port and armored aluminum housing.
The flashlight has a solid and resistant to damage body, made of magnesium alloy, a material resistant to mechanical damage, corrosion and weather conditions. The headlamp has a compact and lightweight design without external wires, making the flashlight very convenient to use and great for any form of outdoor activity, ranging from cave exploration, camping and evening jogging.
The main light source of the flashlight is the efficient Cree XM-L2 U2 diode, which emits a maximum stream of 1000 lumens with a cool color, recommended for all applications requiring intensity and maximum brightness.
The light reflected from the smooth reflector has a fairly concentrated flux with an operating range of up to 163 m. In addition to the long-range emitter, the headlamp also uses a second smaller XP-G2 R5 diode (with a neutral color) and a collimation lens that evenly disperses light and provides very efficient and uniform illumination at close range.
The flashlight has adjustable beam angle, which is done by tilting the entire flashlight module.
Thanks to the use of two buttons, the operation of the flashlight is very simple and convenient and most importantly, it does not require removing the flashlight from the head. Each emitter is operated by a separate switch, which is also used to change the brightness level.
The long-range XM-L2 U2 emitter offers 4 operating modes: turbo (1000 lumens), high (400 lumens), medium (130 lumens), low (50 lumens).
The XP-G2 R5 emitter with diffuse light has 3 modes: high (400 lumens), medium (130 lumens) and low (8 lumens).
In 1000 lumens mode, the flashlight works up to 4 hours (depending on the battery used). Flashlight flux can be increased up to 1400 lumens, including two LEDs at the same time
The Fenix HM65R headlamp is powered by a 18650 battery (included), which can also be replaced with 2 CR123 disposable batteries. However, we recommend using a 18650 battery, which guarantees full light parameters and longer flashlight operation.
This model has a USB-C port, which allows you to charge the battery with a high current of 1,5 A without having to pull it out of the device. This is a very functional solution in a situation where we plan a long work with the use of a headlamp.
The Fenix HM65R headlamp is equipped with reverse polarity protection, protecting against improper installation of batteries. The flashlight features a high protection class IP68, which means it is resistant to dust, heavy rain and even full immersion in water (2 m) for 30 minutes. Therefore, the HM65R can be successfully used in all weather conditions, practically for any physical activity.
Comfortable carrying of the flashlight on the head is provided by modernized rubber band, sweat-wicking and equipped with reflective inserts to increase our visibility and safety when moving at night on the road or trail.
The HM65R uses a constant current controller, which guarantees a longer working time of the flashlight.
