The Swedish brand was founded in 2016. r., which a year earlier discovered how to facilitate the absorption of an energy source by providing high concentration carbohydrates in an innovative product such as hydrogel.

Energy enclosed in natural hydrogel. Each serving contains 100 mg of caffeine and provides 25 grams of carbohydrates. Made with seven ingredients – no added dyes, preservatives or flavor enhancers.

GEL 100 CAF 100 contains 100 mg of caffeine – equivalent to 1,5 espresso – or a cup of brewed coffee. This is a lot compared to many traditional gels.

It provides 25 grams of carbohydrates thanks to its unique blend of fructose and glucose (ratio 0,8:1). This is a high mass-to-energy ratio.

The product does not contain any flavor additives, preservatives or dyes.

Like all our products - it is vegan friendly. Use GEL 100 CAF 100 on its own for a shorter period of time or combine it with other Maurten products that will provide you with enough carbohydrates throughout your workout.

NUMBER OF CARBOHYDRATES

It is well known that our body is able to use about 60 grams of carbohydrates per hour, in the form of glucose or maltodextrin (glucose polymer).

Using a combination of 0,5:1 fructose and glucose/maltodextrin, it allows you to take up to 90 grams per hour. Recent studies have shown that an increased fructose content above 0,5:1 allows even greater absorption. GEL 100 CAF 100 was created based on a fructose-glucose ratio of 0,8:1.

One serving contains 25 grams of carbohydrates.
