The Daewoo single-phase inverter generator set is a modern device that can be used as a standalone or additional power source. The generator will be used during the failure of the electrical network, when powering power tools on the construction site or during road works and wherever access to electricity is difficult.

The unit produces current with practically the same characteristics as in a network with a stable and safe voltage, making it suitable for use in combination with receivers such as computers, TVs, phone chargers or other sensitive electronics. The generator is powered by a 4-stroke internal combustion engine with a capacity of 312 cm³, allowing to obtain a maximum power of up to 5500 W. The device has two sockets for powering devices with a voltage of 230 V 16A and 32A.

The generator has a metal fuel tank with a capacity of 17 liters with a fuel cap located in the upper part, which greatly facilitates refueling. This amount of gasoline allows continuous operation at a load of 50% for 10,5 hours. All components of the internal combustion engine such as: starter, air filter and control cranes are mounted on the side, thanks to which the user has free access to them.

The generator is equipped with a transport kit, 2 wheels and handles for easy movement with the device. A big advantage is the fast electric start thanks to the use of a battery in the device.

An inverter unit is a combination of an internal combustion engine, a self-excited synchronous generator and an electronic inverter (inverter) system that produces a virtually pure sine wave. The inverter unit is quieter and burns less fuel than a traditional transformer unit, and the shape of the output voltage is practically no different from the mains voltage.

Some electrical devices for start-up need to receive power several times their nominal power in a short time, this is a common phenomenon, especially with induction motors. In this situation, we can calculate the initial coefficient, i.e. the power needed for normal use multiply by a certain coefficient. This should be taken into account when selecting the unit and the appropriate demand for the power generated by the unit should be estimated.
