Color-Coded Fever Interpretation
The ThermoScan® 4 thermometer features a color-coded display with instant fever detection to help you interpret the reading:
- Green – Normal temperature
- Yellow – Fever
- Red – High fever
Each color is accompanied by an audible signal:
- 1 beep – Normal temperature
- 2 short beeps – Temperature equal to or higher than 37.5°C (99.5°F)
- 4 beeps – Temperature equal to or higher than 38.6°C (101.5°F)
