When combined with a bicycle meter, the front lighting automatically adjusts to the speed and profile of the ride. You can also control the lighting yourself by a quick touch.

AUTOMATIC BRIGHTNESS CONTROL

Select Edge bike meters detect ambient lighting conditions and automatically adjust the brightness of the front light to save battery life.

EXCELLENT VISIBILITY

At its brightest setting, the Varia UT800 emits a stable beam of light with a brightness of 800 lumens for daytime visibility from over 1,6 km (1 mile).

DIFFERENT MODES

5 lighting modes — very bright (800 lumens), medium bright (400 lumens), low bright (200 lumens), night flashing and day flashing — allow you to adjust the light output to the conditions.

BATTERY LIFE

Multiple modes allow you to extend the battery life. Lighting provides 1,5 hours of operation in ultra-bright mode, 3 hours in medium-bright mode, 6 hours in low-bright mode, 25 hours in day mode flashing and 6 hours in night mode flashing.

VARIOUS MOUNTING OPTIONS

The lightweight low-profile design (140 g) allows the Varia UT800 to be mounted on the handlebar with a flat-mounted handle or to the helmet with a rotating helmet holder2.
